La Vaquita
"The little cow" was delicious. Barbacoa was out of stock, but that didn't matter much. Perry-san got some stupid sandwich. Tacos and Carne Asada were better choices.
El Dorado sucks.

The oracle has decreed that we should go to Q-Shack today. Yesterday resulted in Jeremy having to eat Bojangle's and me having to eat a veggie wrap and fruit salad (although I made $50 for participating in a usability test). Since Pat is still MIA doing some sort of home life situation Jenn and Alex will be joining us. This promises to be delicious!
UPDATE: It was delicious. Although my beef brisket sandwich was a bit too fatty for my liking. Also, we ran into Catherine and her crew from Motricity and have decided to plan a follow-up lunch in which we will meet her at Qshack. Also, Pat's hat form Danny's BBQ was on display.

I was pretty slack last week about updating this thing, hopefully I'll be a bit better this week.
We will be shedding our gold-plated handcuffs this afternoon and heading to the Durham Bulls Park for some delicious treats and possibly paying attention to the game for a while also. The Nutty Bavarian will hopefully be there waiting. Jerry Perry will not be participating today because he needed to be at home so that he could get his new cobra hood installed.

Any takers for making creep week official?
Speaking of creepy...Mr. X was spotted twice today wearing his red outfit. He was headed north at 12:30 towards the break room and south at 1:30 towards the bathroom.

Spiderman 3 officially kinda sucked. It was OK, but you only get to see Venom for like 10 minutes and Sandman gets all soft and philosophical on you at the end. Also, the first 30 minutes is a total chick flick, plus there's a completely random dance sequence. No kidding. That stuff would be fine if I had paid to see west side story, but I did not. I wanted to see some awesome Spider stuff. I was only mildly pleased.
Pei Wei on the other hand was delicious and lived up to all its expectations. Jenn Marcie and Noy participated in this event. Jenn tried to convince us to eat family style, but it was vetoed since that would not stay true to our American heritage.
My fortune: "Someone you care about seeks reconciliation"
I thought it was about Chris, but then I re-read it and since it says I have to care about the person that pretty much rules him out. Anyone else want to apologize for something they did to me?

Q Shack Wednesday! Pat, Tothy, Eleni, Alex and myself enjoyed some delicious treats at the Original Q Shack in Durham today. Eleni paid her basketball debt to Alex , who maxed out his $10 limit with a pork butt plate with seasoned fries and mac + cheese. Toth Pat and Baxter played it safe with a beef brisket sandwich, while Eleni was disappointed by the barbecue chicken. The food was great, but Pat was perfect-topped by someone in front of him in the drink line.

Today we ate at Cracker Barrel on Aviation Blvd. It was quite delicious. Attendees included Pat, Jenn, Noy , and McNasty and myself. Our 1-star waitress, Ashley, performed like a 4-star Cracker Barrel General, bringing us delicious biscuits and cornbread before and during the meal. A Cracker Barrel first: Biscuits were actually left on the table because the food was so plentiful.
Pat mentioned this great painting by Luke Chueh at lunch....thought I'd share.
